SOLUTION: There are provided the particulate agrochemical composition obtained by mixing (a) the agrochemical active component, (b) the particulate carrier, (c) a solid binder, (d) water and (e) a water-absorbing agent by chemical adsorption and having apparent specific gravity of 1.0-2.0, and a method for producing the particulate agrochemical composition comprising addition and mixing of (d) water to a powdery mixture of (a) the agrochemical active component, (b) the particulate carrier and (c) the solid binder which does not require a pretreatment process to form an aqueous solution or an aqueous dispersion, thereby bonding the agrochemical active component to the surface of the particulate carrier with the solid binder, and addition and mixing of (e) the water-absorbing agent by chemical adsorption to the bonded product to perform dehydration process.
