摘要
This study explored the ability of industrial waste media alone and in combination with sand to treat six chlorinated pesticides in a continuous flow filter system. Results show that sand filtration alone was ineffective in treating water contaminated with pesticides. Industrial waste media similar to iron shaving (150 g) in combination with sand completely removed all six pesticides during 300 hours of continuous filtration.
