(JP2017025069) PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating means of parathyroid hormone (PTH) and parathyroid hormone related peptide (PTHrP), used for: promoting bone growth; promoting hair growth; preventing cancer metastasis to bone; promoting immune reconstitution with a bone marrow stem cell transplant; promoting mobilization of bone marrow stem cells for collection for autologous stem cell; treating renal osteodystrophy; and the like.SOLUTION: This invention relates to bacterial collagen-binding fusion proteins containing active agonist or antagonist fragments of PTH and PTHrP coupled to a collagen-binding domain.  This invention further relates to a method for: promoting bone growth; promoting hair growth; preventing cancer metastasis to bone; promoting immune reconstitution with a bone marrow stem cell transplant; promoting mobilization of bone marrow stem cells for collection for autologous stem cell; and treating renal osteodystrophy, the method comprising administering to a mammal the fusion proteins.  This invention also relates to pharmaceutical agents comprising a collagen-binding polypeptide segment linked to a non-peptidyl PTH/PTHrP receptor agonist or antagonist.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
