In the method, the catalyst is prepared by taking the biological carbon as the carrier and is used for catalyzing acetylenetrimerization to produce the light aromatic hydrocarbon, so that the stability of the reaction activity can be maintained, conversion of the acetylene to a polymeric compound can be limited, and theyield of the light aromatic hydrocarbon can be obviously improved.
