(US20190357542) 1. A method for controlling nematodes wherein said method comprises contacting the nematodes with a microbe-based nematicidal composition that has been Prepared by cultivating a microorganism under conditions such that the microorganism produces a biosurfactant, wherein said nematicidal composition comprises the microorganism and/or broth in which the microorganism is cultivated. 2. The method, according to claim 1, wherein the biosurfactant is a glycolipid. 3. The method, according to claim 2, wherein the glycolipid is a sophorolipid (SLP). 4. The method, according to claim 2, wherein the glycolipid is a mannosylerytrithol lipid (MEL). 5. The method, according to claim 1, wherein the microorganism is a fungus selected from Starmerella, Pichia and Pseudozyma. 6. The method, according to claim 5, wherein the fungus is Starmerella bombicola. 7. The method, according to claim 5, wherein the fungus is Pseudozyma aphidis. 8. The method, according to claim 5, wherein the fungus is Pichia anomala (Wickerhamomyces anomalus). 9-10. (canceled) 11. The method, according to claim 91, wherein the broth is applied to nematodes, and/or their environment, without first separating biosurfactant from cell mass. 12. The method, according to claim 1, used to control a nematode selected from root-knot nematode (Meloidogyne incognital), sting nematode (Belonolaimus longicaudatus), soybean cyst nematode (Helerodera glycines), lesion nematode (Pratylenchus sp.), dagger nematode (Xiphinema sp.), and citrus nematode (Tylenchulus semipenetrans). 13. The method, according to claim 1, wherein said method is used to control nematode pests of plants. 14. The method, according to claim 13, wherein the plants are selected from tomatoes, soybeans, corn, citrus and turfgrasses. 15. The method, according to claim 13, wherein the composition is applied as a seed treatment. 16. The method according to claim 1, wherein the composition is applied to soil. 17. The method according to claim 1, wherein the method further comprises applying a nematode attractant. 18. A composition for controlling nematodes wherein said composition comprises a biosurfactant and a microorganism that produces said biosurfactant. 19. The composition according to claim 18, wherein the biosurfactant is a glycolipid. 20. The composition according to claim 19, wherein the glycolipid is a SLP. 21. The composition, according to claim 19, wherein the glycolipid is a MEL. 22. The composition, according to claim 19, further comprising a nematode attractant substance. 23. The composition, according to claim 22, wherein the nematode attractant substance comprises Valerian root extract. 24. A method for controlling nematodes wherein said method comprises applying to the nematodes, and/or to the environment of the nematodes, a mannosylerytrithol lipid (MEL). 25. The method, according to claim 24, further comprising applying a SLP to the nematodes. 26. (canceled) 27. The method, according to claim 25, used to control a nematode selected from root-knot nematode (Meloidogyne incognital), sting nematode (Belonolaimus longicaudatus), soybean cyst nematode (Heterodera glycines), lesion nematode (Pratylenchus sp.), dagger nematode (Xiphinema sp.), and citrus nematode (Tylenchulus semipenetrans).
