摘要
Conversion electron spectroscopy will enhance nuclear safeguards capabilities for detecting undeclared nuclear materials and activities. Development of new conversion electron isotopic signatures will allow radiometric quantification of ~(239)Pu and ~(240)Pu separately, a task formerly difficult to achieve without peak deconvolution. This will provide IAEA inspectors and scientists a tool to di erentiate SNM isotopes.
