(JP2003306403) PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a granular agrochemical agent for spreading over water surface, eluting into water, having a good spreading property and exhibiting a sufficient exterminating effect on using the 1 kg granular agent containing an agrochemically active ingredient having a low water solubility.  SOLUTION: This granular agrochemical agent for spreading over water surface contains (a) the agrochemically active ingredient having ≤10 ppm water solubility at 20°C, (b) a water soluble salt of a copolymer of isobutylene or diisobutylene with maleic acid or maleic anhydride, (c) a sulfonic acid-based dispersing agent and (d) calcium carbonate.
