摘要
Crude Oil production optimization is one of the most important requirements for sustaining the life of a reservoir and at the same time getting the most economical return from production. There are so many techniques used to optimize the production of hydrocarbon from the reservoir and in this project the focus on the application of Nodal Analysis,to investigate the reservoir and well parameters that affect the flow rate. This paper presents some techniques used to enhance oil production in oil field"W",in South Sudan with the use of various underperforming wells. The study was conducted to carry out optimization at a field level,by sensitizing well and reservoir parameters to obtain optimum productivity.P1PES1M by Sch-lumberger made this analysis easier. From the analysis, the point at which the outflow performance relationship(OPR)and the inflow performance relationship(IPR)intersect is the operating point, and it gives us the optimum production rate.Parameters such as skin, tubing ID,Pump operating Parameters, etc.are the parameters used in the technical study to propose a solution to underperforming wells. The initial production rate was at 1056 STB/day,and after applying the nodal analysis concept on PIPES1M,the production rate is increased up to 1244.635 STB/day.
