(JP2016199836) PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a versatile polyether sulfone fiber assembly, which has high solvent resistance and can be applied in various use, and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: A polyether sulfone fiber assembly according to this invention is an assembly of polyether sulfone fibers in which polyether sulfone with a hydroxy group, a compound with an epoxy group, and a compound that can react to the epoxy group are bonded. The fiber assembly after being immersed in dimethylacetamide solution at 25°C for 30 minutes has 30% or less of mass reduction rate. The polyether sulfone fiber assembly can be manufactured by spinning a spinning liquid containing the polyether sulfone with the hydroxy group, the compound with the epoxy group and the compound that can react to the epoxy group, accumulating the yarns and applying heat treatment.SELECTED DRAWING: None
